ISE is focused on the improvement of soil environment quality. The main goal is to identify and quantify the transport and transform of contaminants in soils and among soil, water, air, and plants.

Key Projects and program

ISE presides and participates in a broad range of key projects on soil environment and pollution control in China. Some projects are fund by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MOEP) of China, the Ministry of land and Resources (MOLS) of China, the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) of China.
